Vapor board question

I bought anew mini vapor board on e-bay . It did not come with any instructions. The guy selling them had bought out a hobby shop that closed. Anyway it doesn't have any motor leads so I was wondering where to solder them onto the board. I got a picture with my guess. Can anyone verify or correct me on this hookup? RCNutt

I may be wrong, but most of the ones I've seen have the motor connection at the other end of the board. Are you sure that's from a Vapor? Solder points for the servos look really sloppy for something from Horizon.

Here is a vapour board that I have lying around at home. It looks a bit different from yours! The motor connections were made to the black 2-pin connector at the top.

You have the right points just there soldered on the other side of the board. Your mini vapor board looks identical to the three I have. The others here are both referring to regular vapor or night vapor boards.

Thanx for the info steve_o73 . Mine didn't come with the connector block. This might be a clone, I'm not sure. This one works so it doesn't matter to me if it is a clone or not. It will do the same work. RCNutt

Solder points for the motor hook-ups on the mini vapor

To be sure. Are these the solder dot to hook to?

Thats right. Looks like a genuine board to me. The mini vapor did not have a connector, direct solder to save weight.

Good Thanx again steve_073. I have a small plane I made to put it on but it'll be a few weeks before I can get it all together. I'm waiting for a motor from Banggood. Actually I ordered 3 motors. They come with a gearbox and prop for $3.99 each with free shipping! They are the replacement motor for their Hisky Buzz airplane. And there was a little discount for buying 3. So it was 11 something shipped. I'll probably build another little plane. Maybe I'll try a tiny twin. RCNutt
