Yeah, I use two strips of 3 leds as headlights on my 1:16 rc car. It looks amazing.

I also put some of these on my nutball to make a UFO. Unfortunately you need to use a 3s with these leds so need to find another prop so I can upgrade from 2s.

the positive is commonly on one side the rest are grounds so if possible rotate the connector to opposite direction

I did. I've tried one connector, both connectors, one with arrow to arrow and vise versa
I got the blue ones to come on but that's all

mine shipped without the coin cell installed. Did you check that.. Since you never saw the infrared blink in the camera I always felt the remote was not working. Takes a CR 2032 or a CR2025...

What voltage are you running to the controller. It needs 12vdc or a 3 cell lipo

The double 4 pin males pull out of the controller. Place one on the leds. Plug the leds into the balance plug of a 3s lipo. White lead on the led to the red lead of the balance plug. One color should light up brightly(its getting 12.6vdc) along with another color(its getting 8.4vdc) while the third color will not light (4.2vdc.) I tried this on my strings without hurting anything.
I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be. I have about 8 rolls of these RGB's and they all worked flawlessly...
