I like the size; bigger w.s. than the Sbach umx. and with a 280 sized motor, hmmm. Pricey, though.

The servo is a 3.5g (NEANDERTHAL) of its day . Its history ....

All us guys who fly or modify UM's or UMX's will know that a twin BB micro linear servo is twice as fast and has twice the torque of the old (so called Proper servo)

The servos in this model is a (step back in time) not a jump forward

Come on E-flite give us some (REAL) new 3g linear twin BB servos not the cheep old rubbish that HK sell us . CR%p .

Plug one 3.5g rotatory servo into a AS3X technology brick and it would be history it just a few flights, it would not keep up with the 2.3-gram high Performance Linear Long Throw Servos (SPMSA2030L) the micro SPMSA2030L has to be adjusting Itself all the time (its on the move all the time!) and reacting to the 3 Axis gyro dampner (all the time!)

So the Linear SPMSA2030L Long Throw Servos has to be able to move mega quick and resenter quick to.

Show me an old rotatory 3.5g servo that can do that

Linear micro Servos are the only way to go . Mega fast and quick

All you guys bitch about linear servos so Horizon put actual servos in this plane and now you bitch about them. I guess it's true you can't please everyone. How about buying one and flying it before you say the servos are not adequate. My guess is this plane is capable of more stock than most of the people posting in here.

I just ordered one. Could care less about servos etc... The video sells the plane. Granted it's Quique but the good news is I taught him everything he knows. :-)

was hoping today but the box that turned up was the "PZ Mini Vapour" still a cool little plane but i must admit i was hoping it would of been the Edge 540

maybe they have not got one yet to give me or they feel i am not worthy

No doubt about that, but with AS3X the flight envelope expands greatly.

Looking forward to comparisons of this and the UMX Sbach 342 with AS3X

If the video is anywere near correct there will be no comparison at all. There is no way the UMX Sbach is going to do an inverted flat spin, waterfalls, knife edge tail spins, etc. etc. like the video is showing the Edge will do.
