saturday, april 19..great turn out

wind blew about 17 for awhile from 2-5 then it finally got to be about 23 avg. at 60 degrees....burrr!! we got chilly but we all flew..about 6 guys showed up from the valley,2 ive seen before,im soory i forgot thier names, they left before it got real nice,,,,the other four was bill ? i think, sorry if thats not your name, also bob, raul and al(double tap al).local al couldn't make it...paige of FSD was there with a number of his kits and they flew great,he passed around the stick for others to sample his stuff;i like his stuf, they do great...also me,dennis and jon was there...doubletap and i got to fly our Jaguars together, its been awile since two jags have been in the sky i'd say..hi is a bit modified with a short span, and a SR-7 airfoil and he built the Vtail version,,mines all stock except plywood bottoms..it was cool until the wind dropped us,we survived..some of the guys had some china storms from ZOOM or LAUNCH or both..but those planes kicked butt..yeah,yeah,yeah knock offs this and knocks offs that, but everything has some kinda of borrowed something from someone or something somewhere..the fact is they kicked butt,,and were real purtty too!!
we all stayed till it was about 7 i guess and 56 degrees, the wind was still blowing and it was the cold that chased us out..looking forwrd to flying with those valley guys again, they are a great bunch to fly with..maybe im gonna have to drive two hours next time to fly with them at thier home hill, but i will.
it was great but it'll just get better as the temps come up..heres a little video and i'll post pics later
big day on the hill (0 min 52 sec)

More big day on the hill (0 min 54 sec)

Woohooo!!!!

Hi Dave, thanks for the great hospitality at your home slope! It was super meeting all you guys and flying with you and Jon in particular. I had too much fun as the lift finally spooled up on my second Jag flight (while you were flying your Stryker); the Jag was really getting on step and put a big ass grin on my mug! Definitely looking forward to doing it again in the future; also would be cool if you can make it out to some of our spots.

Don't forget to post the shot you took of our Jaguars posing on the ground, yeah?

Vintage slopers rule!
