San Diego_Poway_Combat_Day 11-15-09

P O W A Y -------- C O M B A T ------- D A Y ! ! ! ! ! !

Who is interested in a day of butt kicking combat ? ? ?

This might be short notice for some... I figured we might as well get some of this incredible wind that has been blowing for weeks and weeks before it is gone. Plus I do not see any other events conflicting with this date. So here we go again.

Hi all,
We had another great round of combat last time.... We have had some
W I N D Y months here the past few months.... So lets do this thing again here on Sunday - November 15th 2009 around High Noon. The wind just starts to come up around 12:00 so early or later its your call.

We will be out on the poway slope out here in San Diego.

We fly everything up there Thermal birds.....DS.... slopers you name it we are flying it up there.... come one, come all.

Come out and fly with us even if you dont have a combat plane. Its just fun to get a whole bunch of sloper's together. Nice place to thermal And There is a killer DS spot for you Dynamic Soaring guys as well.

I hope to be there on Channel 59 (or whatever is open; love synth receivers). Oh, like Adrian I have to get a wing built first (and which one should it be?). Don't thing combat with the Raven would be fair!! Mark, better plan on bringing your frequency board in case work prevents me from making it.

June is over, the 13th not a weekend day so it must be the 15th

Jason is complex, but easy to figure out

(and smack out of the air for that matter)

This should be fun since you clowns haven't figured out how to deal with a 5.5 ounce 24" wing with a major attitude. Phil's still scared of it.
