I think the obvious answer as to who benefits is the person who pays $10 or $20 bucks or whatever to get a $200+ plane. Sounds like a benefit to me....

Man, I have been out of the loop since the PSS fest. That was the last time I sloped anything at all. Been working too much, playing too little, and only flying glow combat..

I just looked at the list of folks going and I realized I've been missing out on hanging with my other set of rc Brothers..

Dave was an awesome guy and if it weren't for him, my original Moth would still be hanging in the garage with me looking up at it and cursing....(note: I had zero experience with flying wings, zero experience with slope...)

Dave got me heading in the direction of goodness....

Look forward to seeing you guys..

Man Terry, no posts for 2 days; you know how to kill a thread.

See you there. Should be a good time.

My wife and her mom started to plan a day trip on the 8th. I said, "That's when I'm planning to go down to Carlsbad." Mother in law says to my wife, "Oh, then we can't go that day, we'll go the following weekend."
I am really a lucky man to have both a wife and mother in law who support my interests.

A Bit OT but it has planes:

There is a series of vids.

The Mustang and the Seafury/Skyraider vids were impressive.

I'll take 2 large shirts, but not if they look like the Moth shirts.

I can bring a cooler of ice cold soft drinks for the event.
Or this one?:
