3.2 gm Micro Airplane / Flies great!!
After a lot of trial and error I have come up with a Super Micro Airplane
that flies great Indoors or outdoors (with near calm wind).
I took it over to local flying field today for tests in larger area than
my small back yard. It flies very good with flight time in 4 to 5 min
range. Here are the details:
Wing: Span 6", Cord 1.5" Made from 0.5 mm CF rod, 1 mm Depron ribs,
saran wrap covering
Horz Stab: 2.25" x 0.7" Made from 0.5 mm CF rod & 0.67 mm Depron
Vert Stab: 0.7" wide x 1" high Made from 0.67 mm Depron
Rudder: 0.4" wide x 0.9" high Made from 0.67 mm Depron
Fuselage: 4.5" long Made from 0.5 mm CF rod
Motor: 4 x 11 mm, 13 ohm coreless
Propeller: Plantraco 32 mm
1. Plantraco Butterfly 2Ch, 0.38 gm Actuator Receiver for those who have
Plantraco 900 mhz transmitter
2. Deltang RX43 4 ch, 0.35 gm Actuator Receiver for those who have
DSM2 Spektrum or JR transmitters.
Actuator: Plantraco Nano Actuator 0.07 gm
