*Esport Phoenix * glider

Hey guys (gals too)!
I was wondering if anyone of you out there own this handsome pusher? Of course this is based upon the pusher design that is quite popular on the market today and I personally prefer this design/look above many. Oh.. and I just received one several days ago. Didn't get a chance to touch it yet being I still have a project waiting for completion.

I found only one forum on the net that speaks of it, but didn't get too deep on tho...just only 7 pages long. So if any of you has it, knows of it or even had mod it, Please chime in ! !

Anyway, this is a a video from- RxRobbo - hope you enjoy it.

I bought my E-sport from this company Dinodirect. This is if I'm not mistaken, a China based company. It's the kit version ONLY. Body, prop and the motor...of course. I got this for a good price I think.Matter of fact, bought the the clouds fly several days before the E-sport, but the E-sport made it the day before.

I've had mine for a while now. It's been a great plane and proven to be durable and fun to fly. Performs well in strong wind as I found out on the weekend. It can also be setup for some aerobatics as well. I find it works well with a 2200mAh 3s in the nose.

BTW I am RxRobbo on YouTube.

Well, this is the only forum beside ours that may shed a little light on some important facts.

Thanks G-LO I want to try mine using a 4s pack but not if it blows the motor. Might run it up on the wattmeter and see how many amps it draws - see if its in the ball park.

4S Test results

Put up a vid of a 4s 2200mAh wattmeter test and flight. Flight was too windy and it crashed! But it was faster and had a lot better climbing ability.

Yeah it will fly again. 4S was good just way too windy to properly evaluate speed and climbing improvement. I'll sort it out and try again on a calm day

Hey guys, just found another one on YouTube. Never saw this one before. However instead of the unique "X" prop, this guy puts a regular 6x6.5 on – which I knew was very possible..

Is it me, or does this plane flies a little better on a "regular" prop? Truth be known that the X 4 blade prop is rather heavy; and its behind the cg. But the 4-X blade looks good and I fell it identifies this pusher a look of it's own.

Y'all let me know what y'all think...

Yeah I think it's better to use a 2 blade and he put in a 2200kv motor as well. Looks to have less drag when flying around. Might try to find a 6x6 or 5.5x5.5 for mine.
