I killed my Beast by mistake :(

I decided to change my battery connections to micro deans. I messed up and ended up reversing the postive and negative. Plugged in battery and smoke came out. Unplugged real quick but looks like my mosfets got smoked. I should know better as i have done electronics for 40 years at least. Has anyone ever replaced the mosfets on the ar6400lbl?

Anyone have advice for repair of this receiver?

Never even got a chance to fly it.

Lesson learned always double check your connections before powering up.

Gah, that sucks... You can replace them if you're good at soldering... You can get them on ebay for a couple bucks for a few I believe.

Chimchim on RCG can probably fix them for $25.

I don't see the point of Micro Deans on these UMX planes. You lose balance and you are wasting time soldering a connector on a $4 battery.

I've bough UMX planes from people with micro deans and it's the first thing I get rid of.

Even the $4 batteries have the power to hover & punch out @ 5 minutes, so I'll stick with them for now.

Here is some pictures of the board showing the damage. Looks like it may be repairable.
Except I melted one servo with the soldering gun, Not a good week so far.

Does anyone know the value of the rear single capacitor?

On mine the caps fried and not the FETs...I converted all of my planes over to JST connectors to make everything uniform...
