Are the E-Flight EC5 connectors compatible with HobbyKing EC5 copies?
Hi:
First post and I can't seem to get answer to this question anywhere,not even from E-Flite! Are the (real) E-Flite EC5 connectors compatible with the(copies) HobbyKing EC5 connectors are selling? Will a battery that has an "original" E-Flite EC5 connector, plug into,say an ESC that has the (copy) HobbyKing variety of EC5 connector? One is about a buck for a pair and the other is about 8 bucks for a pair. They both look alike ,but not sure about the conductivity of whether they will both "work" together electrically. E-Flite EC5's are rated at 120 amps,not sure about the HK EC5's?Thanks, 6012HD |

Most likely yes, that is why they are called the same, so you can use them together, they are just a cheaper alternative. I buy lots from Hobby King.
