So now that it seems Horizon is shutting this one and the ASK-21 down, any guesses what they have up their sleeve next?

HobbyKing just released a Blanik. If you can get past the horrible looking spinner it might be worth a try. In its defense they do offer a scale "nose cap" for pure glider setups. But this is not the place to discuss that model. It does look interesting though, will have to watch the reviews.

Anyone tried "New Stuff" on the wings? I was thinking it would stiffen them up a bit and make the plane a bit more durable.

I like this Ka-8 because I have flown many hours in one. It's a shame I got too tall to fit in it once the energy absorbing cushion was fitted, never mind though, the club sold it anyway...

The reason that I like the L-23 and not the L-13 is because I have one (well actually a 6th) that I'm building hours in now

Not wanting to bang on about the HK version too much, but I too didn't like the nose. I'm sure it would look a lot better with the non powered scale nose...

Also curious if the 51" wing span ParkZone Sport Cub can tow the Ka-8 like dee-grose asked.

What is the smallest successful tow plane anyone has used with the Parkzone Ka-8?
