At what ever speed you spend the most time flying.

One suggestion - get used to moving the elevator trim. Most seem to trim for one airspeed and never touch it. Fine if you are racing or in a pattern contest.

But with my sport planes, I trim for aerobatics, and re-trim for shooting touch and gos. Some radios will let you move a switch to change the trim to another pre-set position (airbrake function).

I set up to fly level at just a bit under full throttle, kick it to full gets me slightly climbing. Personal choice I would think.

Since it has an undercambered wing that really likes to climb under power I have played with setting my straight and level speed as wide freakin' open (WFO). It was kind of fun, but flying at any other speed was a bother because you always needed some up elevator.

Changing trim during a flight isn't a problem: takes a couple of seconds. I like to set mine for about half throttle because that's how I like to fly the plane anyway. I imagine six people would set their trims six different ways. Somebody might even set it for landing speed because they just don't want to worry about anything but keeping the wings level on approach. It's all good!

I'd say depends on 2 factors, the plane and the pilots preference. I prefer to have my planes not trimmed for level flight at any speed, I like to make the minor corrections to hold course. Others will have their own preference.

It boils down to what you like.

As all the others really... you could think of it as 'cruise-control', so if you like to pootle around at throttle, I'd say trim there and just deal with the difference when going faster or slower. At take-off one would assume a bit more throttle, so elevator trim for throttle will automatically give you a bit of lift, all the rest is how you like it
