I went to work on the dampeners today and I believe I've got much better performance out of the steering dampeners. All I did was take the stock TT dampener spring and cut it, not in half but at least three quarters of its entire length. Then put on the shaft on the inside of both dampener, added 35 ae oil. This worked wonders on the controllability of the steering. Adjusted the steering trim a bit and the bike also stayed down while turning the way I like it. Maybe 35ae is to much so I'll keep working at it to find the best oil wt for this setup.

I teach what I've Adapted pa the direction of my SB, herd of original shocks apart from being very thin are also unreliable, since I broke an axle, so I opted for these larger, smooth operation, and resistant ...
Failure to test how it goes on track.

Hello
Two French pilots are being developed with the rear wheels Beadlock system for sb-5. They are also developing the project for the front. End glue to glue the tires. Apparently it will be compatible any brand. They should be visible to the World in Grenoble. |

Check out the Thunder Tiger Team Bikes.... they are using the special carbon wheelset I originally designed for my bike. The hubs are made of 7075 aluminum, the spokes are made of Carbon. They are a direct replacement for the plastic spokes. The front brake of the SB5 fits too (but better ;-)..... I designed these because I was running out of SB5 prototype spokes in March...
If there are a few orders I could make a few sets after the worlds. |
