I use a 2650 3S 30 C. Why is your 2200 getting warm? Usually because of pushing the discharge limits. Could also try running a pair of thin Zippy 2200's together in parallel creating 4400mah with the same 11.1 voltage: http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...Harness/Detail

I'll bet this location would fit much bigger batteries than the 2450 I put in. I did have to cut a bit, and I glued in a new foam piece to act as a battery holder, but the result is worth it. I'm not certain that 2x2200 would fit with this technique, but it's worth considering. |
