2 1/2 ton truck

I want to build a "DEUCE AND A 1/2". I dont want to have to convert a tamiya Semi-truck for my purposes. To expensive for my budget! Is it possible to find a differential today that has a 3rd output to a 2nd rear-differential? This to achieve 6 wheel drive of course. Any ideas on how to achieve this project? Thanks in advance.

if the tamiya semi has the right gear, cant you just buy the axles? ya know, like as replacement parts? seems like you could make what you want out of the axles...

I was looking at that possiblity and hopeing i would find something but i havent had much luck with Tamiya repacement parts for the semi-tractors from the usual distributors/retailers or even E-bay. I would hate to have to order directly and the cost involved with that! Well see???

I appreciate it John. I'll get there somehow. Theres plenty of 4x4 RC trucks out there. For some silly reason no 6x6 though? Tamiyas 4x4 Hummer in 1/12 scale is about half the size i wanted to do but it might still get me there? Thanks again i will post anything i find.

I've decided to scratchbuild this whole thing with the idea of useing differentials and suspension systems from proven trucks. I'm shooting for 1/6 scale with this so my choices are deminished in regards to what i can use. Can anyone tell me what possible differential choices and suspension systems are out there available as parts that might fit the bill? Thanks in advance..
