Motors for Gaui 330x?

I bought a used Gaui 330x from the RCGroups classifieds about a year ago, and its time to replace the motors.

Curious to what kind of motors i should go with..

I know Scorpion motors are used on the 330XS but i was looking for something a little lower in price without sacrificing too much quality. My 330x has 10amp ESC's and does have the frame extension set installed (longer arms) but i dont know if that would even matter. Flying with 3s 2200 lipos also.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

For example, would these motors be suitable for my needs?

I dont quite understand the KV rating, and what it means

I would say that the sunnysky in the link are a bit much for your ESCs.
Go with a motor similar to the original if you don't want to change the ESCs.

the SunnySky X2212's are nice motors, but as epktoms says, will be too much for the ESC's

The obvious choice would be T-Motor MT2208 1100KV (max 10Amps) but is probably out of your price range

cheaper is NTM 28-26 1100Kv which will draw 9Amps when using an 8" prop

never had a Gaui 330, so no idea how these compare ....

I didn't link those motors as they appear to draw too much current ...
