Landing gear truss, shocks, whatever?!

Long story short. 40 sized Nitro has an aluminum gear on it. Its your basic 1/8" pre bent cheap aluminum. It is quite flexible and.....

I put a little extra horsepower in it and swing an 11" prop with little ground clearance. Somehow often the prop strikes the ground and quits. Either I cant land for or the gear is bowing and digging the prop into the turf.

I was looking for ideas on putting like wires with springs... like on a cub. Something to stiffen it up.

But the search key is so vague, well needle in the haystack. Anyone know of a good article or two?

Bicycle spokes between them. Fit one either end, in the middle wrapp with copper wire and solder. Garuntee it will stop the gear from bowing at any point

Why not just fit some bigger wheels?

Almost what scrubmonkey said. Bicycle spokes, but if you buy them from your local bicycle shop, when will cut them the the length you specify, then you can arange them like the pictures, and use the "nipple" to tighten them up.
