Speed. Then pull into the far back corner. Then as it enter the upside down part, move the stick far up corner (left or right).
Its tricky, specially on a vapor

I bought a used Night Vapor on EBay. It should arrive today. I am really looking forward to getting it in the air. There is a monthly indoor meet here in our city auditorium, and I am planning on giving it a good work out at the next meet.

I can get mine to loop all day long, with the 25C packs and -100% expo/125% D/R. Rolls I have not been able to accomplish yet.

Did you put it to full throw on the control surface?

Well, I maidened my Night Vapor in our city auditorium last night. As I mentioned in a previous post, it was used when I bought it. It is the easiest plane to fly I have ever seen! It needs some tweaking though. On takeoff it goes very nose high with 70 mAh batteries. It required full nose down subtrim on my DX7 plus holding extra nose down with the stick and almost full throttle to get it to move forward faster than a crawl. That was with the battery all the way forward. A 130 mAh Hyperion battery helped quite a bit by extending the end of the battery between the landing gear legs. This resulted in less throttle and less nose down trim needed for level flight. Do I need to move the wing back a bit?

Mine flies pretty high alpha when I punch the throttle to full, but other than that it cruises pretty level. The hyperions really give it more punch, but I've got 160s so they take a lot of the float out of it. Can't grease those one wheeled touch and goes when I have them in. On the other hand, loops are easy.

Is that what that does? I thought those slots were for fine zeroing of the control surface. Which is the most movement, the furthest hole?

On the control surface. The Closer to the surface, the more throw.

Wow, I had no idea. I thought those slots were because the thing was mass produced and they just used the slot that zeroed the control surface while the servo was centered. Hello tighter turns. Thank you.
