Help!
Tiny servo movement

Hi
I have some servos controlling the elevator and the rudder. The movement they are creating are tiny. Does anyone have ideas on how to increase the movement?

Spec:
2 12g Turnigy servos
FlySky FS-CT6B Transmitter
DigitalRadio software(I cant use T6 config)

Thanks,
Jero

Use the LONGEST arms available for your servos ; then connect your pushrods to the OUTERMOST hole on the servo arms , and the INNERMOST hole on the control horns .

Did you get your radio at HobbyPartz ? For $15 more you can get this computer radio that will use the same receiver .

I did. Is there any other way to do that with the programming software?
Thanks

I've never used the programming software for that TX , but if you connect to it , look for something called travel adjustment or end point adjustment and increase to the max - it may be as much as 125% or more .

If that doesn't work , you can extend the length of your servo arm by attaching ( with two little screws ) another servo arm to the one on the servo . And you can replace the control horns with horns that have the bottom hole closer to the rudder/elevator hinge line .

Make sure your DualRate is not set and limiting your travel.

Do the servo arms move about 45 degrees each way?
If it doesn't then its the transmitter that is not giving the full movement.

Hi
I tried all your idea but the movement is still tiny although it increased a bit by using endpoint adjustment. Are there any other ways?

Thanks

Define "tiny". What angle do the servos move through ?

I have both those radios,

And the programming on the T6 without computer sucks... its so hit and miss, and is not compatible with windows 7, (you have to run it in compatibility mode)

But again, it still sucks.

But remember you dont need alot of throw for elevator, unless your going for full on 3D flight,

I only have about 15 - 25 degree on my elevator for my wot next, and that alone is more than what i need.
