If I remember right the canopy magnets were very small and easy to overlook in the box. I went and glued two larger mags in the cover and frame. I think the metal disk which has a litle weight to it, is for to help with cg for people who use larger motors.

Searched this site for recommended control throws. Couldn't find any. People discuss percentages of maximum, but give no distances up and down. So what are the recommended distances of up and down for the maiden flight? Thanks. Gary

Depending on your ability, anywhere between 1/4"-1/2" distance will still give you plenty of agility. This thing is pretty durable, don't worry too much on the maiden and you'll have more fun...Just make sure to give it a good toss 45% up.

It is indeed a counterweight to hit the CG right.

Ok, noted. But what's the advantage this counterweight compared to using conventional lead weights?

Nothing, they just give you one for free :P
I used a pound coin along with the counter weight as I am using a 2200kv Motor with a 1500mAh batt.

Did you do the TimTam Slam? Hot coffee but you have to be quick or it'll disintegrate and end up in the drink. The UK imports them by the ship load. Full shelf at a Kyoto station when I was there a couple of years ago in three different flavours.

Nope I'm one of those very few the don't like coffee. Don't really know where she got them from, she just thought it cool to have both of our names(sort of) on it.

Well you can do it with tea too. Coffee is to tea what beer is to wine. Plenty of people don't like coffee just not vocal about it.

There is a strong conspiracy theory that much conflict has been caused by there being 11 TimTams in the pack and it being a prime number. Who gets the last TimTam?
