Whatever makes you happy

Swist will be perfectly good tool to hit 200mph with, and its got a lot of room in its innards for power too so will be easier to build than some other F5D models.

I've been reading a lot on the swist, and the older version will fit up to 6s but the new version 5s. I suppose 5s and 6s could reach those speeds with the right set up. I'm just looking for reliable speed instead of 5 flights per $120 esc and $200 motor lol

What would you think the speeds of it were with the 1112 neu and what kv and prop. I dont have to hit 200mph. Just want something fast and reliable. 63 flights with no issues sounds very reliable to me.

That sounds pretty good to me and can run smaller batteries. Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Sounds pretty efficient and reliable. Thanks

I guess now the only problem is finding the motor. I guess it is common with a Neu to order and wait 6-8 weeks?

i think Soaring usa carries that motor, if so itll be on your door step in a week, if not itll take a few weeks through neutronics. Call annette or gary first thing tomorrow and see. website shows a 1112 1y 3500kv which will work says call for availability 1110, 1112, 1115 w/ approximately 3000+ kv will work fine for 3s or 4s

200mph is 200mph no matter what you fly. I think he was just trying to give you a cheaper airframe option TBH.

Your English is just fine.

A friend of mine goes to his local club and hears quite often about this or that going 200mph (mostly glow stuff). He usually keeps his radar in the car and tells them he'll get it. They either won't fly again or they do massive dives and reach about 165.

Funjets and such are great, but I've never seen one go as fast as a decent F5D ship. There are videos of them with huge power. They sure land fast! Even some F5D will have flutter or wing twisting issues at that speed, plus they get hard to see.

What impresses the locals more is how an F5D can turn. They won't notice the difference between 180 and 200, but they are shocked when they see a 180mph plane make a 25 foot radius turn and exit at 178mph.
