think I will love it, just I need a plane to put it in, I don't know if my mom will let me get another one right now but then if I do I need to get some ball links and make the linkages 100% with no binding, I am sure that is why my elevator servo burnt out, which caused my last crash.

Ignoring a one-time 30 or $40 extra cost, and extra 30 grams in 1200 (3%), what do you guys think of this motor for 47" SHP?

Scorpion SII-3020-890KV

Data Chart

It will actually help the battery location that was pretty screwed up with pull-pull and Omega 103g to begin with.

Looks great. I just don't like collet adapters on cowled airplanes.

Scorpion motors are some of the nicest motors I've ever used. You can't go wrong. However, that one is heavier and a little more expensive, I would think there might be better options. But for sheer quality, scorpion is tops.

If they did a bolt on prop adapter I would run nothing else.

Next ones down can only handle full throttle with 13x6.5 at short bursts. I like the comfort of not pushing the motor or ESC (ICE LITE 50A) doing whatever you like, WOT, even with 14x7.

My setup will be 2815-1000 13x6.5 hacker x-55 and 3s lipo. You guys think I should just get a ice lite 75?
Here is the first watts up test with it in the edge on the ice 75 and 13x6.5. This was right after i finished building it. Had not even flown it yet.
I ran it in the shp with the ice 50 on a 13x4 apc and xoar 13x5 and the amps were good.

I think PA uses those collet type adapters also, but they aren't really a manufacturer.

Way too heavy for this plane and with the collet adapter the prop will most likely sit way in front of the cowling. A Motrolfly 2815 -950 with a 13x6.5 is a sweet setup for the SHP
