Build Log
Airbus A300 & A310 EDF FOAMIE!






I can now say thanks to Rookie2008 my days of building jets for myself is OVER! well from 9-to-5 that is I've been contracted by Rookie 2008 to build a American airlines A300 for him " He's paying me!"
So from 9 to 5 five days a week I'm building his jet

build Schedule:

this weekend finalize plans
Moday start full size plans
tuesday-friday build fuselage & shape & sand
next week wings rudder & elevators
week 3 wiring taping painting & PRAYING!

I hope to finish this bird for Rookie 2008 in a month!

Like with all my builds I buy a Model of the airliner so I can hold the jet in my hands and check angles & stuff!

Here I'm using a hand held hot-wire to cut the A300's main fuselage back-bone, I use wood molding pieces as guides.

And here is the first piece of every airliner I build the fuselage back-bone made from 1" Dowe corning pink-foam. with a Carbon fiber rod from midwest balsa.

Now I've drilled weight holes into the A300's fuselage in order to make her lighter, every little bit counts.
