The New FS-HD1 HD Camera
Hello lads,
Someone suggested I create a separate thread for this camera, so here it is. We are very excited about this one. It is a HD Camera with 720P recorded on board, whilst still putting out Analogue video for the transmitter. So basically while the recorder is recording HD onboard, your transmitter will send the just like any other FPV camera. It can plug into any TX just like any other FPV camera, and has audio on board also. All this for less than 40grams of weight!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!! How about feeding OSD overlay to the onboard recording? Can it be modified to do that? Great job BTW! |

At this price, what's so exciting?
I see the only plus of this combo the weight, else, at $170 you may have: FullHD 30 fps 720p HD 60 fps, tiltable head, video out, and a still decent weight under 100 grams. |

Price is 'OK' from $Au POV. But some questions:
1: What is the max on board SD card size? My 'Std' recordings are getting over 1Gb per 10 mins at the groud station. Given some guy's are flying 30 mins plus, how big will the 'HD' recordings be? is this an issue? 2: Based on above question, will this unit continue the SD output if the on board card is full? I see 249 AUD on his page.
=> ~ 215 USD => ~ 158 EUR Sure its lightweight, but i think the video has a little washed out colors. |
