Lot of room in the fuselage for the battery. The control surfaces should suffice as long as you keep the speed down.

Finished product, ready for maiden!

Winglets screwed on to the wing tip, to change them if test requires...

Victory !

Maiden of the prototype went well, no problem whatsoever, settings were spot on.

Ready for the real thing, but this will take much longer to build ... :-)

Woop!

Great to see a successful maiden!
Also good to see you still have all your fingers....
I always feel a bit scared launching a pusher with an overarm launch.

Anyway, rest not you have the full size to make!

Looks ok.
Gonna fly around some more, to see if it has overall good tendancies ..

Considering laser cutting !

To reduce building time, considering for a first time to sent it out to a laser cutting service ..

Congratulations on the test model. Fast and clearly stable. A little twitchy on the controls but that's due to how you set up the controls. Slightly smaller control surfaces and a little less throw on the final version would make it smoother and faster if that is the goal. Snappy handling can be fun but it generates a lot of drag on the airframe. If speed is the goal then smaller surfaces make for smoother handling. And smaller surfaces, if they are still stiff enough, reduces the chance of control surface flutter.

It did seem to get into a sort of stall and drop suddenly at the end of the flight. Perhaps play around with the slow speed flying more to get a better feel for the handling. Especially if that's the same wing and airfoil you're going to use for the ducted fan version.
