Help!

Is there a trick to keeping the main shaft out far enough to even HOLD the B gear on securely? If I hold the heli vertically with tail down, the shaft will move out a hair to a position that would work. Unfortunately, there's a little play in there - and it goes back in a hair if I hold it nose down.....

In other words, is there a magic screw I can tighten to get rid of that play?

The C gear should keep it from moving.

Only magic screw could be the main shaft locking collar. Push the main gear up against the frame & make sure the locking collar is all the way down on the top of the frame.

There has been a lot of talk lately about installing 130X blades and better motors in the V120D02S in order to do 3D. It is useful to remember that the V120D02S is quite capable of doing 3D in its stock form, too. Here's a reminder video:

yeah, doesn't take much to twist those micro screws in two, too much loctite is usually the culprit with walkera helis. Sometimes I wonder if they don't use red loctite instead of blue.

I think it looks awesome more than likely i will use the cheapie canopy to practice 3d and then i will use this one on the shelf or just doing sport flying. (damned thing is expensive)

If you use a slipper clutch there is no issue for the gears apart from wearing them out. This is by far the best solution, especially when things are glued together.

I emailed that dude and he never emailed me back. The slipper clutch is definitely my next step. (Although I haven't completely wrapped my head around the concept of how it works, I'm sure it will make more sense when I assemble it and see it for myself)
