This thread has gone awefully quiet lately; is everyone loosing interest?

Changing the subject: changed the rear wheel hub to the other side of the wheel to make tire wear a bit more equal. It turns out that the hub recess is offset so the hub sticks out further on the other side of the wheel however. ![]() Thinking of getting the hub shaved down to fit other side, then just shim the difference of axle lenght and pack the hub out if we move it back to the other side. Any comments or cautionary concerns about this idea? Dont really want to unglue and glue the tire back again. Kindest regards, Lars. |

Hi all,
A quick check in from the ACT. I attended my first race meet at the local track recently. At the moment there are no other bike guys so they put me up against a 12th scale Pan Car. Needless to say I got lapped a couple of times but managed to put on a good show for the car guys who hadn't seen a bike going before. The good news though is that there was another bike guy guy there who runs a Nitro Thunder Tiger. After seeing my bike he was spewing he didn't bring his out! He had now decided to buy an TTSB5 Pro though and apparently has a couple of mates who are dead keen. Hopefully they get keen real soon though lol ![]() Also any Sydney guys who run bikes if you can managed to get down to the ACT in a couple of weeks there is another meet running and the club here (who I might say are a top bunch) are happy for us to run a class. They run timing have power and the track is in good nick and flows really well (I have some footage and will try to upload soon). Anyway hopefully everything is good up there, I know you have been smashed by the weather a bit lately. Take care. Scott |

Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, been busy with work and also moved house over the weekend. We've got no internet at the moment for the next 2wks but will keep a lookout on the wifi at work when I get a chance. Not loosing interest, just busy. Super keen to get back on the track tho. Lars, I'll give u a hand with your rear wheel issue next Friday night. For now u could shim the wheel..
Cheers |
