By not making it compatible with the 2801pro, Walkera is missng out on lots of potential sales. It is a ploy to get people to adopt the Devo system but is very annnoying to existing 2801pro owners. Bundling it with the Devo 6 is neither here or there. Serious users will still need a Devo 8.

The main motor looks like one from the X-Wing UFO#8. Nice to see Mod 0.4 gears. Much less prone to stripping, and getting grit [sand and stuff] in the teeth, too. Way easier to set the lash...
This is looking like a nice little heli...it still looked a bit underpowered, though. Ain't nothin' new 'bout that. Not too many come with more than adequate power. And for some, there is never enough. regards, Bill |

Video of V120D06 modified with Blade mcp X blades
For the moment I have found my perfect training helicopter.
My V120D06 is modified with a V100D03BL rotor head (but with blades and o-ring from Blade mCP X) and with a 4#3B inrunner with a 18T pinion. The tail is in direct drive with a 5G6 motor. For the moment, nothing to change in 100 crashes. The only problem could be the blade holder shaft which twists and needs to be realigned per moment. And this helicopter flies very well with wind (around 20 km/h). Best fluidity in clicking on the link on the top of the image

AS I KNOW,
1: The weight is only 35g 2: Genius CP is almost indestructible 3: it's come with Denvention brand radio 4: it's adopted the 6-Axis gyro and 3-Axis gyro in this model which is suitable for beginners and 3D pilots. the Special 6-Axis gyro is suitable for beginners for practice flight.

Hope someone carries it so US buyers can get it. I would have bought a Mcpx but don't have any Spektrum trans and have a 2801 Pro. All of us that own a 2801 Pro would be very interested in a BNF. I don't really want to go to a Devention8 right now. Heh, Wow hobbies , you listening??

This does look like an interesting little heli. Though too bad it isnt brushless, but nice it is right about the same weight as one of my mcp's which does make it even more durable. Not sure about having to have the new Devo tx's but if nothing else parts to swap on the mcp might be interesting.
