I watched Carl fly his Canadian transport, last year. He commands excellent flying skills.

I'm glad that you had a good time. It looks like a great event.

I attended one today, too, but it wasn't a large affair.

Thanks Thomas.... Next year, we/re gonna have an "RCG sign-up area"...We should meet and talk live....Put faces to the names, y'know ?

Lots of us attend, and few of us know each other.

I'm going to suggest the option of including our RCG monikers on the application, to make us readily identifiable.

Heading back this morning, to start policing the area..

I want to take a moment to thank Justin for attending, and flying a Fokker DR-1..The Military discipline paid off big time, when he flew several times with 'arrow straight' take-offs and no gymnastics on landings.

An Aircraft Maintenance disciple- 'keep 'em flying'!

Mr. Schnegelsberger; thank you for your time at Warbirds over Delaware.
May God watch over you as you deploy to Kuwait. We appreciate your service, and your presence at our venue.

Thank you.

Nothing much left, but great memories,today...Some fliers enjoying a great day (don't you know !), most leaving to go home...

The crew is enjoying the 'winding down', with some great comeraderie, and we finally got Sal Calvagna to leave for Loooonnnnnguhisland.... Our feelings were crushed when he disowned our 'Trophy of Appreciation" and just left it lying in the mud.

The Corsairs made one final flight, in salute to our own fallen club members, who helped in years past to make it what it is.

For those who visited with us, thank you so much....for those who couldn't make it- try for next year.

Earl,

Thank you for acknowledging my son Justin and for the kind words. Justin and I have been flying at warbirds since 2007 and he always enjoys your event. He has been flying since he was 9 yrs old. Unfortunately he will miss next years event due to deploying in February to Kuwait.

Again thank you for the kind words and Justin says he'll see you in 2015!

grs34- It's a pleasure to have you guys at Warbirds repeatedly.

It is my honor to spotlight Justin...All the pilots who travel so far, with so many models, are celebrating, honoring, or remembering those who sacrificed so much to defend our freedom.

It is a pleasure to have your presence here, and we look forward to Justin's safe return.....2015 it is ! I may join him in the dawn patrol...

I was not aware he flew a Gee Bee also....Mike Hudak reprimanded me for overlooking that fact...

Lots of interesting things going on at Warbirds....Let's start with pictures.

Tom- I didn't find Hank- I don't know if he's here.
The Horten was built by Thomas White and Tom Hernandez. See the build thread in rc groups "150% enlarged WingontheWeb HO-229 ". There was two
Hortens there at warbirds and one was actualy test flown late Saturday.

thtaco- thanks for the info....I'm a shy guy, and I don't want to impose on the fliers..

I'm improving that ,and next year I'll be a pain in the patootie, getting statistics.
I usually stand back near the spectators, and get their reactions and comments.

"Graceful, smooth, and eerie" were some of those made when Thomas flew the Horten...Many believed it would make an excellent airliner...

I'm working on a questionnaire for next year- optional for builder/ pilots- to better share the efforts of these guys in an on-going weekly spotlight at RCG.

I could be standing next to Thomas and not know him....that's just wrong..

Earl..
