Mini-Review
Silverlit 3D Twister

Silverlit sent me one to review. I think it's a fun little car, but a little hard to drive because it's so fast! If you have one, let me know what you think!

Looks like the same thing Airhogs sells as well... they look like durable little cars!

Do you have a link? I know Airhogs and Silverlit have some kind of deal together, but I haven't actually seen this car anywhere. Radio Shack is supposed to have it, but not at my local store. It is fairly hardy. I have run it into the walls a lot and jumped it pretty high and it just keeps going. Once I managed to land it on the side of the wheels and it got stuck, and once the steering arm came off, but it just pops back on. It is lots of fun and the dog seems to like chasing it

As fas as I know, the Deluxe Set includes a plastic ramp. Seen here:

Thread Revival!

Radio Shack currently has these for 30% off. My 5 y/o son had some cash stashed, so after a charitable donation we came home with one of these after going in there for a $3.00 switch

The little thing rocks. It looks flimsy but is very durable. It's faster than my neighbor's Losi Micro T (brushed). The main thing I dislike that is not mentioned much is that the radio range sucks, limiting it's outdoor utility. The run time is also terrible, but that's a common complaint.

A lot of people complain about the understeer (it's a tiny car with a solid rear axle, after all), but backing off on the proportional throttle allows it to steer just fine.

Yeah these are available everywhere now. When I did the review, it wasn't really out yet. I will never do a review like this again - it just didn't feel honest reviewing something I didn't pay for. I think I gave it a fair review though. The understeer is due to the tires not having any traction at all, and the front being light weight compared to the rear. I think it's actually how it got the name twister, because it will spin pretty quickly if you steer it just right. I gave mine to a lady at work for her kids, I'm not sure if they broke it yet, but they really like it
