I know what you are saying on the tx. But the abilities of the new receiver without having to use one of those "chiclet" transmitters is a much improved offering at a reasonable price.

It says it has linear servos. So, it sounds like this is a very different brick than the one used in the Albatross. Very exciting.

It is a brand new brick. It has a micro plug socket for aileron and a brushless ESC. At some level, all linear bricks start to look alike, What do you expect:-) Anyhow, before pulling anything out, you ought to try it as in terms of power and speed and resolution, I yhink you will find it unmatched.

The great thing about being bind and fly is they may sell it as a plane set, so spektrum swappers get it cheaper and can sell of a brick that is actually worth something.

Also it claims a 3 amp esc versus the 2 amp in the 6400. This will open up a wider ability for twin motor installations.

So it is Aileron/Elevator on the brick and External rudder... or does the DR1 turn with the left stick?

Elevator horn is on right, so the brick could be upside down, like an Albatros... If it is, I like that.
