The best GPS Tracker IMO - RF-V16

Everyone uses the TK102...but i found a tracker thats not much more expensive, lighter, smaller, has a speaker and MUCH more battery life.

Made a review I hope this works for you! Let me know what you think.
RF-V16 GPS Tracker review (7 min 46 sec)

Looks good!

I already have the TK102 which is not 100% reliable and this one does not need to be stripped to be usable.

I just took the plunge and bought one here for less then 57$.

Will report as soon as I get it.

Could you show us the inside?

I cracked up at the description on ebay:

" This RF-V16 is the smallest GPS tracker that you have never had. It’s very convenient for the child and the elder for its small size. The parents will find their children immediately when they were lost, and their families will get the news in time when there is any emergency for the elder.

With few button, it is very easy to operate and use it in your life, hope you can enjoy it."

Bold for hilarity.

Yeah those chinese texts are always amazing xD

I updated the video description with more info and tests and how to setup

70% charge left(well thats probaly actually 20% then) and asked for GPS location for about 15 times total, over 8 days of standby. Really really good battery life

I just confirmed its not LBS (Location based services) with is off your cell's network towers etc..
But infact it has a GPS receiver inside. Most of other newer Trackers are only LBS.

This supports both.

Have not gotten one yet, amazing small though and light! thanks for the video review! really didn't think it realy had a GPS rx in it

I bought a RF-V16 and am hoping I'll get a refund. My seller forgot to mention that it won't work on 3g or 4g networks. Nice to find this out after spending $70.00 setting up a prepaid cel plan.

Yes. Tested it in heavy rain/ clouds today and got me the gps location after 10 seconds. also once had to wait 4 minutes before i got a reply back.

But never got left without a reply. And usally it always replies with gps co-ordinates with a google link.

Futhermore this unit does not have a 3g or 4g module (why would it need it) so obviously, you also need a simcard that supports 2g.

And hobbyzone.....isnt it obvious after watching the video that it has a GPS inside? lol.
