Sup guys, I was wondering to my self what would be the best and most viciously strong motor as an upgrade for my v120d02s? I want one with crazy head speed for my fast forward flight and idle up mode. I want one that has enough head speed to make my heli be as solid as a rock in windy conditions (it already is anyways but I want more solidity).



Any ideas? Heard the hp05 was good and the c05 but they don't seem that much of an upgrade?

I vote small block Chevy! But, you are going to need some really big blades.

I would try a TA915 or TA215 motors. Maybe HP08S 16500kv motor.

2s anyone? 2x Zippy 400 fit in the tray just fine.

I already bought 2 turning 950 mah batteries. I'm not looking for shorter run times

I run a couple 215T motors with 850 mah and 900 mah batteries. Awsome power and head speed, good start up on the stock 20 amp ECS and no overhead issues. I get close to 4 minutes on the 850 and about five minutes on the 900 mah battery.
You won't be dissapointed.

Wow used to sell the 915 motor and I have one of those too. From day one the start up had a spudder, the motor is REALLY tight so it runs very hot but has lasted more than a year so far. This is a good one too if you can find it but a bit outdated already and not as good of a choice as the 215T

I already got me a 16800 kv motor and I hope that would give me a pretty good upgrade in head speed It comes with a 4g6 too lol.

I perfer the TA 215 also but since asked about I throw the other motors in also. I have a had both the 915 & 215 an the 915 is more of a amp hog flight time is better with the 215. I have not tried the HP08S. Those 3 motors are probably the most powerful 1S motors out.

Well o just found out that the 4g6 that I bought comes with a Turbo ace 16800kv motor. I think that should be plenty of rpm considering the kv?
