Hi gents
Do you still fly your gyro one ?
I have recently got one into the uk.
The manual is not the best to say the least, however I have seen your videos flying this machine .
My machine is now painted and built the only thing left is the final setup on the fore and aft on the main shaft is the o degrees fore pre-rotation then 6 degrees take off mode then up to20 degrees in normal flying trim
Any hints n tips please

It feels like a long time ago but it was only 2 years ago

Dave I have not been able to fly my Gyro 1 since moving back to Scotland they are still in the boxes in the attic due mainly with the weather and not having a model room I now have a small space in a bedroom where I can do some modelling and I hope to get them flying when I get back in May

My query is about the settings on the gyro one
It states that o degrees on pre-rotation wind up stick fully forward
Then 6 degrees on takeoff stick in the middle and a max 10? On full elevator full servo pulled fully back
10 degrees roll rate aileron (a total movement of 20 degrees )
With a hang angle of 10 degrees
Any comments / advise please

Sounds about the same as my one I will measure when I get back to Scotland at the end of May during the maiden keep the banked turns shallow and use the rudder be careful with orientation and enjoy the flight

Is there anyone on here not considering building a large scale gyro? or maybe already is? : -) I know blades are the main factor but im sure it can be done.
