You know one problem I have with spektrum radios is that they must put useless stuff like a big Spektrum logo, model picture, and huge model name on the main screen,I would love to have a channel monitor screen built into the main screen.

^People often forget what type of aircraft their model is. This is a "feature" to remind them

I have a DX7 and my main gripe is the length of the antenna, or more specifically where the hinge is - even with the antenna folded, it makes for a much bigger case needed.

I would be happy to have a DX-7e in a DX-10t case, use to have an MC-20 back in Europe wich was 35mHz band, could not use it here. Most German and other Europian pilots like the tray set up. Had 10 channels in the MC-20, hardly used 7.

DX10t

I understand the DX10t is not coming to the U.S. but...

1) Would there really be any trouble with flying one here in terms of signal, etc? Won't it be DSM2 simply at a lower output rate; 10mW vs 100mW? It would see this should be no concern by anyone, that is if I understand it correctly.

2) Would clubs care for any reason? I'm not currently affiliated with any group, but wouldn't want it to be an issue if I ever decide to.

3) Does anyone know enough to anticipate the American Spektrum receivers/satellites should work on this device?

Thanks,

Damon

Odds are they will work fine. So long as the RF sections have FCC certification be quite legal and nobody will care.

maybe a slight drop but it wont be much. I say the DX7 drops $15-20 and the 6i stays the same at $200.

I was actually looking at a 9503 when I upgrade, that is unless I get a chance to use a DX8 and like it more

I went to LHS to buy a DX7 last week. They suggested I order the DX8 instead. I'm looking forward to sending in my DX6 for long needed repairs. Once it is refurbed I'll use it for the smaller stuff like MX3, Viper etc. I might use it as a buddy box for teaching my grandsons as well.
