Once I get the nacelles done I can work on attacking the outboard wing panels.
Sounds great Kevin. . . Keep up this level of work on your 404 and she'll be ready by summer.

Did some more work on the lower nacelles... She won't be scale in this area, I just didn't work it out properly to get the wheels completely recessed. So, no door gear and a bit sticking out like the A-10 and DC-3.

I should be ready to glue in the pieces before long. Final shaping to take place after attaching to wing. Not long before outboard wing panels are attached!

You won't be able to see any difference with the gear down.

Looks good to me!

Thanks, I don't have the build pace of a lot of you guys.

Change Sun 30 Class (planes up to 2.5 Kg). They seem to work OK, but I'm not real happy with the setup to lock the mains. I had to turn them 90 degrees to lock properly so the springs are sideways.

Stop saying it woln't look scale Kevin, its not finished yet! Once you've added some spackle and done some sanding , maybe adding some gear doors it will look Great! and scale!

Those are good reliable retracts Sir . . .. Good Choice!

PC Pilot,
Thanks for checking in... Still need to get the bottom nacelles finished. Haven't been able to get back on it. In the middle of moving WW hq for my company, that has been my life for several weeks. D-Day tomorrow, so maybe I can get back on the build soon.

Ahhh... work. I used to do that. Now that I am retired, I am having so much fun I wonder how I ever found time for a job.

That's what all the geezers in my club tell me! I'm still aways off, unfortunately. Doing IT stuff for 30+ years, I'm ready to log off for the last time.

Waiting for that retirement date sometimes feels like waiting for parole. Hang in there, it's coming.

Thanks... Winding down from the datacenter move... This is my first and last relocation. Told my boss no more, since we're on a 10 year lease so that should get me to retirement. Maybe back on the 4-0-4 soon.

Moving is always a test of mental & physical strength. .. . . It's never easy Sir. . . I hope I don't have to move anymore in my life.

Looking forward to more 404 build.
