Turtle deck

I managed to get the turtle deck framed up and planked. I still have a bit more sanding to do.

Hey Bob,

I most definitely didn't know this was going to happen. A while back I think I said I may fly the plane without a canopy and turtle deck.

Anyway, I'm just too way too lazy make a female mold from the turtle deck plug right now. It'll happen but just not for the first prototype. I promise it'll happen. Please just give me some time.

I have used the canopy plug and I will be using the motor intake plugs.

Brian,
The Ho VII is looking great! Looking forward to seeing it all together. Nothing like the look of wood on a model like this...just seems perfect.

Thanks guys! It'll be at least several more weeks before there is any chance for flight videos. I'm still juggling time between the Ho VII and Ho III and some other projects. I'll definitely keep this thread updated.

Wing panels...

I got a bit more work done on the left wing panel. The cap strips and a little piece of skin on the trailing edge are now in place.

Cheers,
Brian

I should swing by for another taxi video. The previous video showed unrealistic climb rate.

Looks you are getting there.

I take some time off of RC to focus on my house,... and this is what you've been up to? I can't leave you guys alone for one minute!

Extremely nice work!

Brian,

Oh, that is looking fabulous. I like the way it exudes old time warrior flying wing. In a convenient sized package. Hmmm
