Help with Multiple LiPo charging... s
I'm sure this question has been address before but I just want to be sure I'm doing this right.
I have 5 Lipos:
(2) 2000 mah, 2S, 1C, 7.2V
(3) 1700 mah, 2S, 5C, 7.2V
I'm using my icharger 106B+.
How many amps should I be charging at? 9.1 amps ( 2*2 + 1.7 *3 = 9.1) or can I just go 10 amps since the 1700 mah have a 5C charge rate?
Any comments would be appreciative. thanks!

Depends on IR on each pack and how far off from 1C you don't mind going into each pack.

A lot of armchair theory (misinformation) in that thread. Enough that it can be disregarded, at least in my experience.
I'd have zero issue charging the resultant 9100mAh pack at 10A but understand that this is slightly over 1C charge rate (~1.1C). This won't create any issues and I've personally been balance charging 1C charge rated packs at up to 3C with my iChargers for many years without ill effect.
Highly recommend that you perform balance charges on each and every charge to maintain proper pack balance and ensure maximum safety.
