If you do go heavier you just need to make sure you have some extra support in the main wings with some carbon spars (tape, not tube) and/or some extra packing tape support and/or fiberglass if your ambitious.
I can´t understand the weight, i finished assemble the 1700 sw, just the basic fpv equipment, the camera y the light fatshark, 2 x 3s5000 and 1x3s1200, and the weight is 2750 grs, so how can you have your frame to light?.
thank you

Mine is at 2kg with 1 3S 5000 mah lipo and a gopro plus fpv cam. Add your other 5amps lipo and the 1300 lipo plus some different assembly details and you pretty much get your weight.

Heppy,

thanks for the ride! Sure looks nice and sunny there. We've had very few flyable days (or hours) in the past weeks. Thursday was almost nice, so I took the opportunity to maiden my 2nd Scout Bee.

Dennis and I are discussing a longer flight in the spring, flying the SkyWalker to Germany and (hopefully) back. 2 x 18km over the sea. Longing for better weather...

Another international flight, first Sweden, now Germany, what's next. I like the SB. I'm giving one of those thoughts one day , I'll be keeping an eye on yours.

BTW, we've sent the sun back your way a month ago, be patient
