Yup, I have 4 boxes with new 113's waiting to be put on.

I am surprised you can run a 215 on the tail, isn't that kind of large?

Yes about the stockers drilling in to the ground. I had that happen on my 450 3D with a cyclic servo strip out about 30 feet up, with the heli resulting into a nose dive directly into concrete. Talk about a parts explosion. That cost around $100 to bring back to life.

What do you folks do with your ds76 servos when you pull them off? Put them into anything else? Sell them?

Anything lightweight that doesn't demand a lot of force to move. I've used them on planes, they're not a bad servo when used in the right application.

Yup, that was my impression with my first flights too. I was so surprised at how well it handled and moved about the place. it made flying my 450 size heli's a lot easier as there was not such a big size jump.

I have one more that I want to get going, so then I can switch between the two and let one cool while flying the other.

I only take a couple of batteries for a heli, and instead take a lot of heli's with me, something like this from today (300x on the right)

Guess what got here today!
AFTER A MONTH lol.

I'm finishing up the beastX setup. I'll also swap out the stock ESC for a Talon 25 and change out the turnigy parkfly for a scorpion 2213-14 on 14T governed to bring it up to 3600 RPM haha.

Will report later!

Blade 300x Lynx stretch

After a small crash i decided to modify my stock one with some Lynx parts LX1043 (https://www.lynxheli.com/product_inf...ducts_id=23883) + 10t pinion RKH (BP0510-233090), the modification was easy and the bird is pretty fast and stable, and my servos TGY-90S are still working well.

But the flying time is shorter, i set the timer to 3:30 with a 1300 mAh battery

Wow, that looks like one heck of a kit for only $36 Do you have any pic's of yours after the conversion?

I just ordered a kbar for my second 300x frame, and now I am thinking this stretch kit might be something to consider too.

How does it fly compared to the original?

Here are some pict, from the 300x stretch and from my fleet ...

I cannot compare them because i didn t do a lot of flight before the change, but i can say that the bird is faster than before and easier to see in the sky.

i like it like this ...

Wow, nice looking fleet there!! Good pic seeing the stretch next to the 450, gives me an idea of what it looks like size wise.

Since I have two of the 300x's, I might do this stretch to one of them, just for variety between the two.

I love the stretch, she flies so fast that it s a pleasure when the wind is there, just be carefull for the landing ...

Good idea to have the stock one and the stretch one ...
