NJ is far, but I am looking into it.

Some huckfests are closer, and looks like a lot of fun too.

The more events with 3D the better. No need to rain on parades as far as I am concerned.

As for the 48"...you could put some foam bumpers on the wing to make it. Or sell some stuff, and get a bigger plane.

Yep I think I am either going to add a bit of foam to the wing tips to make my 48 a 50 or hang a 1inch piece of thin carbon fiber off the tips adding an inch to each side. :P technically that would make it 50. Hahaha.

Yeah pretty much! It was a crack yak lite that hit me. I think mine won because a piece of his canopy fell off!

i am hoping to be able to make it to NJ to compete in the competition. I just recently bought a 57'' extra, Motrofly 4315-714, 4x 7245MH, ice lite 100, castle 20 amp bec. Now I have the plane, and a 51'' AJ slick I could use as a backup. Now I just have to figure out a way to get there.

You are in Ohio... and you're going all the way to NJ? That's crazy! LOL

I hope to be able to make it there, I am about 6 hours away from the event. I am not 100% that I will make it but I will try.

LOL I'm 3 hours away and I'm not making it. I thought it would be more for people that were like an hour or two away, not that far...

There will be a couple people from Ohio I know of that will be going. And I am sure there will be people from even farther.

Joe Smith travels like 10-12 hours for it!

I'm sure there will be a few people there that travel 10+ hours. If I could afford a plane ticket and the time off I'd be there.
