Rhode Island ANG Open House and Airshow
What a day, what a day, I havent been to an airshow in over 5 years, and we decided to take the 3 hour ride to Rhode Island for their show this year, and with out a doubt BEST AIRSHOW I have ever been too!! Show included, Team Oracle with Sean Tucker, Michael Goulian and the Extra 330 sc, the sweet Thunderous purr of the Horsemen P-51`s, to the extreme power of the F-22 Raptor, and F-16 of the United States Airforce, to the ballet like performance of the Canadian Snowbirds, and at last the Blue Angels Performance without a doubt perfect as usual! I took over 500 shots on Saturday, and will slowly be posting them for you guys to see!

I wanted to see the Ospray fly. It was listed in the performers list but they only had 2 static displays. If you want to take good pictures the left corner is the best place to set up. That's where they rotated, landed and taxied. You couldn't hear the announcer from there though.

oh man - I wish I could have been there!!!! Looks AWESOME. Why can't they have a show like that at the Schenectady airport? Or even albany?

Yes I know there are a couple Doubles from the last 2 postings, It was late and I am very sunburnt! LOL Josh Schenectady used to have shows, they cant anymore because of the buildings they built #1 no parking anymore, #2 it wasnt profitable. Albany is not big enough, the runway is not long enough I dont think.
