Clouds fly fun
Hi guys,
Thought I would just make a quick post obout this hobby,
I have taught myself to fly on a clouds fly, after some sim practice,
I have crashed half a dozen times, tree crunched it a couple of times, but have goy to the stage that I can fly fairly comfortable in a stiff breeze if its blowing a bit though prefer not!
Any way I took it out oover some farm land today, planning to just fly out the one battery left charged from yesterday,It is a bueautiful day here this morning, very lite breeze, and clear skies.
Anyway put the plane up,and for the first time experienced thermals.
I am running on the heavy side with 2200 batts, but that plan three time got into thermals, you can tell when the plane gets a bit twitchy, any way that plane was up for well over an hour, only took out 1100 mah, Had an absolute ball !!
I was surprised how well it thermalled, I now know i think a larger powered glider is in wy near future.
This hobby can be a real blast when it all comes together, it certainly makes up for some of the downers!!
Anyway thats my my bit, good flying guys
Neal
