I built mine entirely from 6mm depron. Materials are do2n to the individual I think.

What are you going to use for the wings? Perhaps you could use that same material.

I ended up using the 1" thick pink foam board from Home Depot for the top and bottom. It's a PITA to make clean cuts with foam this thick. The plane turned out OK for my very first foam build from scratch. I am a bit concerned that the extra thickness may block air to the 5x5 prop. I will find out soon enough as I plan to maiden the plane on Friday.

The orange "tape scheme" was inspired by another builder on this thread.

Looks great! As long as, like you mentioned, that the prop doesn't get air starved behind the fuse

should be ok like that, my first one is as thick formed as that after trying to fly and crash, getting cg correct. flys superb too building another the same now i know its ok.
