Thanks guys, I'm going to get myself back up there on a really good day & try and get some better shots. The Lake District is a photographers paradise indeed.

The setup is an easystar with a Nikon L3 on a fwd facing mount.

Nice - not been to the LD for about 10+ years but I remember it being quite amazing for photography (I wasn't even 'airbourne' in those days )

Wonderful pictures What a beautiful area. Too bad about the simming area, it looks still in pretty good shape.

Thanks for posting Glenn,

I did not know about Grange over Sands silting up..You learn something every day on this forum. Looks like a good place now for grazing sheep (saltmarsh lamb is very tasty )

I know it is a long way for many of the SCRAPS, but what a venue the LD would be for a UKAP meet!

Cheers

Mark,

We need more Lankys to swell the ranks up here, those Southern AP stars steal all the glory!

Sites? We fly where..it is appropriate. PM me to discuss.

Cheers!

Whaouh, very nice pics Glenn!

It has been thirty five years since I went to the lake district. I was 12 or 13 and on holidays with a British family during a language study stay (but i am still doing errors in English ). I remind sailing on the windermere lake. A great moment. I do like those landscapes. I look forward to seeing more pics

cheers

Awesome pics! Why can't America have such cool little towns with neat architecture? We get urban sprawl......yay.
