Question
Newbe question 4 you all

I would like to power my twin motor brushless setup entirely off a 3s lipo pack, is this possible? I only question this because the servos and rx are only rated to 6v and 3s is an 11v setup. I would be using castle Thunderbird 18 escs. Does the esc have a voltage regulator in it? Or will it even hurt anything over volting the servos and rx. Thanks

One 3s pack is fine. Your Thunderbirds have BECs (Battery Eliminator Circuits) to supply ~5v to your Rx and servos. You might be best served to sever the red wire from one of the ESCs (though I think some Castle ESCs are okay if both are left intact... check that for Thunderbirds). Rather than cutting the lead from one servo, I'd use a short (3") servo lead and sever the red wire on that... then both your ESCs will remain pristine for future projects.
