But in the end, I bet the extra weight will be a good thing. The extra mass will give it a more realistic when it is under way because small pebbles and such won't unsettle it as much.
Fuel tubing sounds like a good idea. Looking forward to seeing those images.

Yer, I'm thinking the same thing plus the mass is a good thing for towing kids on skateboards.
The tubing keeps the front end from sagging under its own weight now. The front end suspension is still functional, just a bit stiffer. And, the rear end sits nice and flat. Before, the first set of rear wheels were riding lower than the rear two.
Also included a shot of the 3s 3000MaH lipo I'm using. Fits like the original NiMh 7.2v battery.

Can't be exact, but I've never hit lvc. I'd say I run it around 30 minutes usually.
I might do a test one day with Eagletree data logger.
