I have just ordered the F-16 and plan to use a Hyperflow 370, 24-33 - 4875 and a 3s lipo. Specs indicate 223 watts. Will this combo adequately fly this plane - I realize it won't break any speed records. Thanks

From my experience, I've had to install a 70mm ducted fan unit and use 4S 2200 mah battery packs to get it to fly good. I added landing gear but nothing else. The best thing to do is run it up and see how many amps you're pulling. Convert that to Watts based on how many cells you're using. I also have learned to attach the bottom of the fuselage using magnets on each side, top and bottom. That way I can easily change or upgrade the motor / fan unit without tearing it apart.
Forgot to mention. Also, make sure the CG is in the correct allowable zone. I had my battery pack in the front area of the canopy and it made the plane too nose heavy. Too nose heavy made it a great "dragster" on the ground but it wouldn't lift off even with full throttle and full "up" elevator. When I checked it, the CG was at the leading edge of the wing. Even us experienced guys screw up sometimes.
Oh, one more thing. I reinforced the tail as described in the supplemental instructions, using fiber glass and 5 minute epoxy.

The stock bird came with a 55mm fan and I still fly mine with the stock power55mm setup. I think you will be fine with the power setup be sure that you have lipos that are 40C rated or higher. You might want to also consider flying with a 4S in the future. I also have another P3F16 that has a Wicked 4000kv motor that runs great.

I also have a wicked 4000kv that flies excellent on 3s and is a rocketship on 4s with a 70mm fan. I know its not recomended, but it sure is fun

The biggest difference I see in the 70mm 4S battery pack set up is its ability to climb at a rapid rate. I don't usually fly at full throttle the whole flight because I like to get more flight duration out of it. You point it up at about 70 degrees and it just keeps climbing.
