Speed 400 can - Too hot for CA?

I have a 6v speed 400 with a 6X3 prop running on a 2S pack in my Terry. On hot days the can gets hot enough to soften the foam around it, and even soften the epoxy that holds it in place. I want to glue some flat CF strips to the motor to further secure it.
Can CA withstand the heat?

This is one plane where the stock power arrangement gives fine performance when using a lighter (lipo) battery.

CA can take heat but it's very brittle. Sounds like a good place for a #64 rubber band to me. Oh, and better airflow around the motor!!!

The Terry uses a push-it-into-the-foam motor mount so you won't get any air around the can. I was a little dismayed at the mounting, I was planning on an outrunner so I had to install a firewall.

Is foam safe CA brittle?

Good Luck!

Thanks for the responses.
I have melted air channels around the motor with a soldering iron, so there is some ventilation. I like the idea of flat CF sticks because it leaves more surface area exposed to dissipate heat. I will test the CA on those, and if it breaks easily from a "pull and twist" test, I will try JB Weld. I just don't want it breaking loose in flight as it heats up.

I've CA'ed cans into stuff and never had a problem. Notably a picojet.
