I actually own those three motors. I have not been a fan of scorpion airplane motors. I understand they are finally making some with bolt on prop adapters.

I just saw the A60-8S on 12S with Andrew at the sticks of his 73" AJLz, and I asked about the CF prop he has on there, so maybe we'll find out. A little buzzing in stall positions but seems to recover well when throttled up quickly. He also has the Mezon 90 in there, so this setup is certainly catching on in the 74 inch class planes. The AJLz comes in about 11.42 pounds with this power setup and the rest of my components, if my empty weight of 2742g is correct. So I'm hopeful that the e-verison of the 74" Edge EXP will come in not too much heavier because the power is very good with both speed and thrust options, plus the 3300mAh capacity give me over 7 minutes on this motor.

Since the DM4330-198Kv tests a tick or two better than the 193 unloaded Kv A60-8S, it's another option at 3.5 oz less.

I'm with you all the way ion that one Aero.
The 74" Edge EXP is def. on my next year list and def Electric. Since I have nothing but good things to say about my A60-8S, unless something really big comes around before then I'll use it in the Edge.

Only the 20x10E-L will spin up faster and have less overall precession. If Mejzlik decides to produce a 21x10 EL it's going to be very popular.

Alan, was it the 6S 40C 3300mAh Revos you bought, or were they a higher C? I'm looking for the weight of the 40C Revos because I still want to get at least one set to compare to the other batts I have. The 5S 40C 5200's Revos did really well, so I'm thinking now is the time, if the weight it right.

No, the only 40C Revos I have are 4S. The 6S I bought were 3700s 60C and were listed at 570g. I knew that was bogus weight but was only expecting maybe 625. When they came and weighed 675g each I was VERY disappointed. They do now list them at 670g so at least they fixed that.
The 40C 3300 6S are listed at 500g. and I'm seriously doubting that weight too so I never ordered any. Got coupons?
If you do order some of the 3300 40C post up the real weight for us. I'm betting it's closer to 550g. Which would still be ok but I hate that they don't have accurate weights posted.

I have no coupons but I will buy a set unless I can thing of something else in the meantime. I really should get one more Sky in that size since I have an odd number of them now that I lost two cells in one of the newer packs I bought. I tried to recover the batt, but no luck. Funny that the GForce outlasted at least that one Sky.

Looks like shipping the Revos is $17 and change. Not too bad. If anyone has any recent discount codes, let me know.

I had a discount code from Aero-Models that expired on the 14th since I really should test that Aero-Model 20x10, but I'm in no rush to buy another CF electric prop. I'm sure I'll see more now that the holiday season gets earlier every year.
